Its Yuva Project at Lodhi Colony Police Station area. All these youths are likely to get job opportunities in hospitals after completion of their course. This programme started about 2 years back and hundreds of youths had been trained under this programme. As per Delhi Police estimates, around 70-75% youths trained under this programme have been able to get employment or do their own business.
All these programmes are monitored by the Commissioner himself. The 22nd youth skill centre was inaugurated by the LG Shri Anil Baijal yesterday. He appreciated the efforts of the Delhi Police in having started such a centre. These skill training programmes are targeted at school drop-outs, those who have a tendency to enter into the world of crime and also families of crime victims or those who are from poor backgrounds.
